To Commemorate International Day Against Drug Abuse, Jay Yen & Rafael Smash Release Single I Love You

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Jay Yen releases his latest single. Together with Rafael Smash, Jay Yen releases a song titled I Love You coinciding with the International Anti-Drug Day (HANI) on June 26, 2021.

I Love You is a song created by Edwin Gandawijaya in the hip hop genre, a collaboration with DJ Sumantri aka Sumobeat as the recording producer, and this project is produced by JY Records music label.

The choice of HANI 2021 as the release date is because Jay Yen has been involved with drugs that almost took away his future and life.

"Regarding my past with drugs, I just want to give encouragement to friends out there who still have a dependence on drugs to not give up, start loving ourselves, and love will come into our lives at the right time," explained the man born in Tangerang on May 30, 1992, with his latest education being studying at the Faculty of Medicine, UPH.

1. Telling a Personal Love Story

The song I Love You is actually based on Jay Yen's personal love story with his partner.

"I wrote this song based on the love story that I went through, there were many problems and challenges that my partner and I had to overcome, and it actually strengthened our relationship after we went through it," he said.

2. Considered Suitable for Hip Hop Music

For this single, I Love You, Jay Yen intentionally invited Rafael SMASH because he is considered suitable for performing hip hop music.

This single is available on all digital platforms, and the music video can also be watched on YouTube.

"Hopefully, this debut single titled I Love You will shine in the music industry in Indonesia and go international or worldwide through all digital platforms in this HANI 2021 celebration, Aminnn," Jay Yen hopes.
