Ashanty recently underwent ruqyah performed by an ustaz. She did this because she felt strange as she suffered from severe insomnia that made her unable to sleep at all. Ashanty shared her experience during the ruqyah, check out the complete information below!
When met in the Senayan area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (30/11), Ashanty actually felt embarrassed to talk about the ruqyah she underwent. Especially since she had tried various therapies to cure her insomnia.
"Embarrassed knowing that I can't sleep," said Ashanty. "I'm currently undergoing all therapies. Whatever I think can bring goodness to me, I'll do it," she continued.
Ashanty also explained her reasons for doing ruqyah now. She admitted that everything that happens within her must make sense, therefore after getting an explanation that she feels is logical enough, Ashanty will finally be willing to perform ruqyah on herself.
"Why did I almost cancel the ruqyah before because whenever I just met someone, they would immediately say, 'Oh, there's something in you, there's something in you.' I'm the type of person who needs everything to make sense," she said.
"While yesterday he explained it nicely and made sense to me, that there are indeed things like this and I just prayed using what is in the Quran," she added.
In addition, Ashanty explained that when being treated with recitation of the holy verses of the Quran, she initially did not feel any effects. But after a while, for some reason, she suddenly wanted to cry because she remembered something.
"I also didn't feel anything strange, not even feeling nauseous or anything. It just feels like wanting to cry, because I remember something. The recitation was so loud near me," Ashanty concluded.
