The Umrah journey of Shahnaz Haque and Gilang Ramadhan in Saudi Arabia turned out to have a sweet surprise. They unintentionally met Ikang Fawzi who was performing Umrah with his two daughters.

"Unplanned from the beginning, God brought us together in Madinah. The feeling of love between us grew stronger in the city that holds many memories. The wounds from fate brought us closer and strengthened this relationship. We shared stories, accompanied each other to provide strength, did small things but impactful so we could always make each other happy," wrote Shahnaz on her Instagram page.

"We never get tired of maintaining good expectations with the plans of the Life Director, and this city is always open to welcome God's guests. The five of us were warmly hosted, eased in drawing our souls closer to the Creator and the Prophet Muhammad, making our bodies fall in tears. Oh God, we come to arrange our hearts that are full of constrictions," continued Shahnaz.

The meeting in Madinah made Shahnaz happy. Finally, she worshipped together with her brother-in-law and her beloved nieces and nephews.

"There are times in life when everything comes at once. Loss. Pain. Confusion. Loneliness. Disaster after disaster. A wounded heart. A heavy mind. The soul begins to question. Why me? Why now? Why all at once? We wake up not knowing how to face the day. We have to smile, but feel empty. Laugh, but feel broken. Try to pray, but the tongue is tired. And no one truly sees the storm within," wrote Shahnaz.

Since Marissa Haque's passing, the sense of loss is still very much felt in Shahnaz's heart and also in her two daughters. However, Shahnaz is happy that they could gather again in Madinah.

"Don't forget that the ones loved by Allah are the most tested. And those who have many reasons to give up, never give up. They can turn every heartbreak into a prayer. Every loss into love. Every pain into patience. So, what is the solution when our world collapses? Remember the Prophet Muhammad, not just his miracles, but his struggles. Not just the beauty of Madinah, but the silence of the cave," wrote Shahnaz.
