When met in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (17/6), the former vocalist of Kangen Band said he really wants to meet his child. However, he can't do it because Andika Mahesa has never been given permission to meet his daughter.
"Kirana is now in junior high school, I rarely meet her, not just rarely but never meet her, because of the circumstances. It's not that I don't want to meet her, I want to meet her but there are some things that don't match, maybe she still sees me as an enemy, or maybe it's just my feelings," said Andika Mahesa.

Andika apparently does not want to meet his child without permission from his ex-wife. This is because the man who is often called Babang Tamvan greatly respects his ex-wife as a parent who takes care of Kirana.
"I'm afraid if I want to meet, afraid that if I bring my child, it will be said that I want to kidnap again, even though it's my own child, afraid that people will have suspicions like that. So I still respect her because she takes care of it, custody was taken by her after we separated, I respect that," he said.
Nevertheless, as a father, Andika always prays for his child even from a distance. Not only that, he will also always support his children even if he cannot meet them until now.
"When Kirana and my children are watching, I can only say 'forgive me, dad is just an ordinary human, apologize to my children, dad will always support, wherever you are, even though I can't physically meet you, dad can embrace you," he concluded.
