Sad news once again envelops the entertainment world. Senior actor Eeng Saptahadi has passed away. As reported by Liputan6.com, Eeng passed away at Primaya Bekasi Hospital, West Java on Sunday (21/5).

The news of Eeng's passing was also announced by film observer Yan Widjaya. "RIP Eeng Saptahadi (Indramayu 15/2/1958 - Bekasi 21/5/2023) character actor from IKJ," wrote Yan Widjaya on his Twitter account on Monday (22/5).
Furthermore, Yan Widjaya also mentioned how Eeng passed away due to Covid-19 exposure.
"Total of 16 films, 5 soap operas and FTV. (Eeng) Passed away due to Covid at Primaya Hospital, Bekasi, Sunday night," he continued.
Eeng Saptahadi's son was also seen unable to hold back his sadness during his father's funeral. He was seen bowing his head while holding back his tears.
Until the end of his life, Eeng Saptahadi continued to create. He was known for playing the character of Pak Asraf in the soap opera TAKDIR CINTA YANG KUPILIH, which aired on SCTV. The official account of the soap opera also wrote a message of condolence.
"Innalilahi wainnaillaihi Raji’un, we deeply mourn the passing of Mas Eeng Saptahadi," they wrote.
The body has been buried at TPU Cipenjo, Bogor, West Java, on Monday (22/5/2023).
