Unchanged Charges and Still Being Held, This is the Fate of Vicky Prastyo's Children

Kapanlagi.com - Vicky Prasetyo conveyed to the judges, requesting that his suspension of detention be granted. The reason is that Vicky is worried that he cannot provide for his family and his six children.

However, in the trial held at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (5/8), the Public Prosecutor's Office (JPU) rejected Vicky's exception. Because it has not been granted, three of Vicky Prasetyo's six children are currently being taken care of by his younger sister, Baby Prasetyo, and Bella.

"Regarding the children, the children are with Baby and Bella at home, so we take care of them," said Baby Prasetyo after the trial of Vicky Prasetyo at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (5/8).

As Vicky Prasetyo's sibling, Baby and Bella work hard to support Vicky's three children who are now under their care. Despite their efforts, Baby feels that their joint efforts with Bella to provide for Vicky's children seem insufficient every month.

"Economic needs, such as food and education, still have to be met. That's why we all continue to work. Therefore, it would be better if, for example, the suspension of detention could be granted. After all, Vicky is the father who must continue to support his child, it is obligatory by law," said Baby Prasetyo.

"Now, with the provisions and strength that Baby has, God willing, they can take care of Vicky's nieces and nephews," Baby continued.

2. Not Informing the Children that Vicky is Imprisoned

In addition, Baby said that it turns out Vicky's children do not know that their father is now in prison. Therefore, as their guardian, she does not allow her nieces and nephews to play on the internet so that they do not find out the news about their father.

Not only that, even Baby and Bella did not inform their nephews about the actual condition of Vicky Prasetyo who is now behind bars.

"At first, we would say, 'Daddy is working, just pray' or say, 'Daddy is having a swab test at the hospital.' If they are told, it will have an impact on the children's psychology. That's why we are pleading for the suspension of Vicky's detention to be postponed," she concluded.
