Undergo Two Months of Introduction, Turns Out Dinda Hauw Initially Rejected Rey Mbayang

The news of their marriage indeed surprised the public because they underwent a courtship process of only about two months until finally holding the wedding ceremony today.

"Our happiness, both Dinda and Rey, finally got married after undergoing courtship for about two months," said Dinda Hauw when met in East Jakarta area, Friday (10/7).

1. Only Invite Family and Close Friends

Because we are still in the midst of the corona pandemic, they only held a wedding ceremony attended by close family members and friends.

“We only invited close family members and friends who are important to us to ask for their prayers and blessings. We hope to become a happy and blessed family. Amen,” said Rey Mbayang.

2. First Meeting

Rey Mbayang shared the story of his first meeting with Dinda Hauw in October 2019 due to work.

“So we first met in October 2019 at a mall. We got to know each other as colleagues, and we met twice at one of the offices. We were asked to review a film about young marriage,” said Rey Mbayang.

Feeling compatible, on their third meeting, Rey Mbayang went to Dinda Hauw's house to ask for permission to marry. “On the third meeting, I went straight to her house and met her brother and mother to ask for their blessings. Alhamdulillah, it went smoothly and was accepted, but she wasn't ready at that time,” he explained.

3. Dinda Hauw Initially Refused

Since April 2020, they began their courtship. However, who would have thought that initially Dinda Hauw refused Rey Mbayang because she didn't believe in the courtship process. But after seeking guidance from Allah SWT through Salat Istikharah, Dinda Hauw finally became convinced to accept Rey Mbayang.

"At that time, I initially rejected Rey because I didn't believe in courtship and still wanted to seek guidance through istikharah. But after about two weeks of istikharah, Insha Allah, I made up my mind to accept Rey," said Dinda Hauw.

"In any case, courtship is truly enjoyable," concluded Rey Mbayang with a smile.
