Unfinished Case of Alleged Quarantine Escape, Rachel Vennya Will Be Questioned by Police Regarding the RFS License Plate

Kapanlagi.com - Yesterday, Thursday (21/10/2021), Rachel Vennya along with her partner and manager visited the Directorate of General Crime Investigation of the Jakarta Metro Police. For approximately nine hours, the influencer was questioned by investigators about the alleged escape from quarantine obligations at Wisma Atlet.

As known, Rachel was supposed to undergo quarantine for eight days after traveling to the United States. However, there was an Instagram account that exposed to the public that the mother of two did not comply as she should have.

The 25-year-old woman immediately received criticism from netizens. They felt that as an influencer with millions of followers, Rachel has set a bad example.

After going through the clarification process, a new problem has now arisen for Rachel. It is related to the license plate of her Alphard Vellfire car, which ends with RFS, similar to those of state officials.

1. Not a Government Official's Vehicle Plate

In response to this, the Director of Traffic of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Kombes Pol Sambodo Purnomo Yogo, spoke up. He explained that the B 139 RFS plate indeed belongs to Rachel Vennya's vehicle.

However, the use of RFS is not a special code for government official's cars. Because government official's plates have four numbers.

"So if we look at the vehicle registration database, B 139 RFS does belong to Rachel Vennya. It's not a special number, it's a regular number because it has three digits," said Sambodo when met on Friday (22/10/2021).

2. Will Be Asked for Clarification Again

What then became a concern is that the plate was used on a different colored car. In light of this finding, Rachel will be asked for her statement by the police.

"According to our data, the car is white. However, based on the facts and evidence captured by our colleagues, the car used is black," explained Sambodo.

"After the examination regarding the case of escaping from quarantine is completed, we will summon her for clarification," he concluded.
