"I remember when we were in STEKPI class of '93, we held an event called Animasi93, Glenn and his full band Funk Section came to our event without wanting to be paid, even though the members of the full band were top musicians like Mus Mujiono and others. Just being able to help our STEKPI friends, he was already happy," Uya Kuya reminisced.

At that time, Uya Kuya asked Glenn to perform at his campus event. Not only did he bring the songs of Funk Section, Glenn Fredly and others also performed the song One Last Cry popularized by Brian McKnight which was enthusiastically welcomed by the audience.

In that memorable story, Uya Kuya told how Glenn Fredly was so understanding towards people around him and also his friends.
