A flash flood has just hit the super mega city in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, on Tuesday (16/4). It can be seen that along the roads, residential areas, large buildings, malls, and even schools were flooded, and operations at the airport were temporarily halted. Even luxury cars were scattered on the streets due to heavy rain.

It is known that Atta-Aurel and Anang-Ashanty's families were enjoying their vacation in Dubai after performing the Umrah pilgrimage in the Holy Land of Mecca. The celebrity families also shared the condition of Dubai in the midst of their journey. Currently, they are seen on the plane heading to Indonesia after experiencing a delay for several hours.

As reported from his YouTube video, Atta and Aurel showed the flooded city of Dubai before the flood occurred. They visited a special Indonesian restaurant and toured Atlantis, the largest hotel in the world, and even went to the Dubai ruler's residential area.

During their journey to the highest point in Dubai, Atta and his family were surprised by heavy rain. Dubai appeared to be flooded with water on all the streets, resembling a flood in the Kemang area. Their plan to enjoy the beautiful scenery had to be canceled due to the completely cloudy sky.

Atta showed the audience that the heavy rain in Dubai even reached the lowest basement area. Aurel, who initially looked at shoe collections in a mall, had to leave because luxury stores like BVLGARI, CHANEL, and VERSACE were also submerged in water. It's really scary!

2. Go to Dubai to Celebrate Wedding Anniversary

The main reason why Atta-Aurel couple went to Dubai is to celebrate their 3rd wedding anniversary. Previously, Atta invited his wife and their two children to Aurel's dream city to enjoy the beauty of Burj Khalifa, Desert Safari, and other popular destinations.

3. Waiting at the Airport for 11 Hours

Atta-Aurel and Anang-Ashanty families finally decided to return to Indonesia yesterday. As reported from Atta's Instagram account, he showed the super crowded condition of the airport filled with people queuing for their return flights. He also mentioned that he and his family hardly slept overnight due to the continuously delayed flights. Everyone seemed to be waiting on the floor, and even Azura, Atta-Aurel's second child, fell asleep on the floor with only a blanket as a cushion, KLovers!

The younger members of the family, like Arsy and Ameena, appeared bored waiting for news of the plane's departure. However, they still wore cheerful faces and even enjoyed snacks on the floor. After several hours of waiting, Atta and his family finally boarded the plane and are currently on their way to Indonesia.
