Vanessa Angel Receives a Gift from Angelina Sondakh upon Leaving Pondok Bambu Prison

Kapanlagi.com - Vanessa Angel, an artist, was declared free from Pondok Bambu Detention Center after undergoing Covid-19 assimilation on December 18, 2020. Now, the mother of one child returned to Pondok Bambu Detention Center to collect an official release letter.

Vanessa Angel expressed her gratitude for finally being able to be completely free after being detained for a month. According to her, with pure freedom, she can start a new life.

"Thank God, I am finally free, I can resume my activities, start a new life, a new chapter. I am grateful that there are no burdens anymore.
Yes, of course, I am happy," said Vanessa Angel at Pondok Bambu Detention Center, East Jakarta, Monday (18/1/2021).

"Yes, today I only came to collect the release letter because I underwent assimilation at home before. Now, I am completely free and I am collecting the letter at the prison," added Vanessa.

Accompanied by her lawyer, Sandy Arifin, and her husband, Bibi Ardiansyah, Vanessa went to Pondok Bambu Prison. According to Sandy Arifin, Vanessa did not perform any administrative process after receiving the official release letter.

"There is none, only this (official release letter)," said Sandy Arifin.

Leaving Pondok Bambu Prison, Vanessa Angel received two large plastic bags of mushrooms from Angelina Sondakh. Both Vanessa and Angelina Sondakh were detained at Pondok Bambu Prison.

"Earlier, I was also given mushrooms by the prison inmates. These are the results of their harvest inside, along with Angelina Sondakh," said Bibi.
