Last week, the trial was postponed due to changes in the panel members, while this time it was because Vicky's side is mourning. As is known, the presenter's father was confirmed to have passed away on Wednesday (9/1/2021) evening.
"Today's trial with the verdict agenda is postponed. This postponement, as we all know, is because our client's parent has passed away. So today, the atmosphere is mourning," said Arif Hidayat, Vicky Prasetyo's legal team, when met at the South Jakarta District Court.
"We have requested permission from the Public Prosecutor (JPU) that the defendant cannot attend. Our client requested the postponement because they are mourning and there are other matters that need to be attended to," he added.

The legal team has proposed that the hearing be held again on Thursday next week, September 9, 2021, with the same agenda. Whatever the result, they believe that decision is the best one.
"Regarding the decision, from the beginning we were confident that we would get the best decision according to our target. Whatever decision is made for our client, we will respect it. If it is unexpected for us, we will accept it," said Arif.
There is a rumor that Vicky Prasetyo will report back Angel Lelga after the trial. When confirmed, the legal team did not want to speak much.
"There is a direction towards that, but we haven't discussed it yet. We'll see how it develops. What is certain now is that our client has not discussed it," concluded Arif.
