Vicky Prasetyo's Marriage with Kalina Ocktaranny Postponed Due to Lack of Father's Blessing

According to Rina, as the wedding WO party, the wedding of Vicky and Kalina Ocktaranny was not canceled. But only rescheduled because the documents from Kalina's side are not complete yet.

"Indeed, I have taken care of Vicky from the proposal until the wedding day, and it will be held on February 21 tomorrow. But I'm sorry, on February 21, we have to cancel, but we will reschedule it to March," said Rina as the wedding WO party of Vicky Prasetyo and Kalina Ocktaranny in Kemang Pratama, Bekasi, on Saturday (20/2).

There is one document that has not been completed from Kalina's side, namely the signature of her father as the marriage guardian. "Why? Because there is one thing that has not been completed, especially administratively from the KUA. So, if we all know from the KUA, there must be a signature or presence of a guardian because this is all for the documents, indeed if the documents are complete from each district domicile. Kalina is complete but there is one thing that has not been completed, which is the signature of her father," said Rina.

1. Postponing the Wedding

"If those who have been here have heard my conversation that there is one thing missing, which is the father's signature. Because we are in Indonesia, a country of law, without the father's signature, we cannot process the event. Currently, it seems that Kalina is still chasing her father's signature," added Rina.

Ideally, if the wedding is held on February 21, 2021, Vicky and Kalina's documents should be complete a few days before the wedding. Due to incomplete documents, the KUA Gunung Putri rescheduled Vicky and Kalina's wedding.

"If (the approval) is true, it's a matter between Kalina and her father. I can't explain further. What's certain is that the KUA Gunung Putri only limits the time until Thursday. So, they cannot help with the marriage after Thursday. Our constraint is that we postponed it to the 21st because the officiator did not agree to marry on the 21st due to the lack of signature or the availability of Kalina's biological father," said Rina.

2. Blocked Blessing from Kalina's Father

If we can say so, Vicky has not yet received the blessing from Kalina's father. Moreover, until now, Kalina is still trying to ask for a signature from her father so that her marriage with Vicky can proceed smoothly.

"If he hasn't received the blessing, it probably means that, haha, if all that is needed is a signature. It depends on whether the parents want to give their signature or not. All parents get married because it is a religious act. But if the father doesn't give his signature or doesn't want to attend the event, we can't force it," Rina concluded.
