Vicky Prasetyo's Trial Continues, Can He Marry Kalina Next Year?

Kapanlagi.com - The continuation of the trial for the defamation case involving Vicky Prasetyo against Angel Lelga has been postponed until next month. It is confirmed that Vicky will resume the trial on January 7, 2021.

This time-consuming trial may also disrupt Vicky's marriage plans with his girlfriend, Kalina Ocktaranny. Both of them are reportedly planning to get married around February next year.

Being a defendant and also a city detainee, what will happen to their wedding plans next year?

1. Already Sharing Wedding Date

Vicky Prasetyo revealed that he and Kalina have discussed the wedding date. In fact, he plans to talk to the family. And hopes that, before that date, the trial will be completed. 

"Like this, hopefully. I have already shared the wedding date with Kalina and God willing, it will be discussed with the family on February 21. Yes, I hope that it will be completed before that date. But I don't know about the legal side," said Vicky Prasetyo when met at the South Jakarta District Court recently. 

2. Can They Get Married or Not?

Vicky's legal representative, Ramdan Alamsyah, said that legally Vicky and Kalina can get married. However, during the trial period, Vicky is not allowed to leave the city.

"Legally, if they proceed with the marriage, it's not a problem, as long as Vicky doesn't leave the city. Not that he can't, he can as long as he attends the trial because his detention is postponed," said Ramdan.

"So, if God willing, they can get married legally in February, they can also have a honeymoon as long as on January 7, 2021, he must attend the trial," he added.
