Starting from doing squat jams with almost naked body, getting into a trash can, to being hit on the back. Regarding the circulation of the video recorded by inmates in the Bandung Metropolitan Police detention center, Kombes Pol Ulung Sampurna Jaya finally spoke up.

"The viral video inside the prison happened because the previous inmates didn't like Ferdian's group because of his behavior outside, where he gave trash food to the community. As a result, these inmates bullied Ferdian and his group," said Ulung, the Chief of Bandung Metropolitan Police when met at the Bandung Metropolitan Police, Saturday (9/5).

Previously, during this pandemic, detainees at Polrestabes did not receive any visitors, except for food. Perhaps this mobile phone was slipped in during the food delivery to the detainee," he explained.

Nevertheless, the detainee's mobile phone has been secured. The Bandung City Police Chief will also conduct a thorough examination of all detainees and guards on duty to be accountable for this incident.

"With an incident like this, we will tighten security measures. First, we will not accept any visitors, second, we will not accept any outside food entering the detention center," he concluded.
