Vidi Aldiano and Sheila Dara Don't Believe in Auspicious Wedding Dates, Choose Unique Dowry from Two Different Currencies

In a virtual press conference held on Saturday (15/1), Vidi explained the meaning of the dowry. Apparently, the dowry was chosen from two countries where Vidi Aldiano had previously studied, and the amount was adjusted to their wedding date.

"According to the date of the wedding, these two currencies are the places where I studied before," said Vidi Aldiano.

"The important thing is that the form of the dowry is beautiful. The color of the dollar is made into flowers, right?" Vidi continued.

2. Getting Married Adjusting Empty Dates

In addition, Sheila Dara Aisha also explained about the selection of their wedding date. Apparently, there is no special meaning, they only adjust the empty date from the makeup artist (MUA) that she likes because Dara really wants to be made up by that MUA.

Not only that, Vidi Aldiano also emphasized that he and his wife do not believe in auspicious wedding dates.

"(The reason is) I really want to be made up by this MUA, and it turns out that the 15th is available. So, it's okay," said Sheila Dara.

"We both don't believe in auspicious dates," added Vidi Aldiano.

3. No Fighting Before Marriage

Sheila Dara also stated that she and her husband, Vidi Aldiano, did not fight before their wedding day. In fact, Sheila Dara always agrees with whatever choices Vidi Aldiano makes.

"We don't fight. Because I trust all of Vidi's choices. That's why every time he chooses, I really believe it," she said.

5. Seeking Parental Permission

Before the marriage vows are exchanged, Sheila is given the opportunity to seek permission from both of her parents to marry the man of her choice.
