Viral Fajr Azan Video, Ari Lesmana Now Holds the Title of Muazin

Kapanlagi.com - Ari Lesmana, one of the members of the band Fourtwnty, has recently become a topic of conversation due to a viral video of him reciting the dawn call to prayer (azan subuh) during the Vindes suhoor event. Ari himself admitted that he did not expect many people to like the video.

"Yes, I am only human and not perfect, still learning all the time, feeling both regret and not regret," he said when met in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (13/4).

1. Receives the Title of Muazin (Caller to Prayer)

Ari feels the burden because he realizes that his worship is far from perfect. Moreover, Ari has now received the title of muazin (caller to prayer).

"The burden is heavy, the responsibility is heavy, that's why I am called the muazin, the muazin, the muazin, but I am just happy that I can finally do it. Who knows, maybe someone wants to try it next year, just try it. Because it is indeed done purely," he said.

2. Learning How to Recite the Azan

Ari himself admitted that he only learned how to recite the azan properly after agreeing to be the muazin at the Vindes event.

"Yes, their team informed me and my management asked if I wanted to recite the azan for their suhoor and iftar program, so I said yes," he explained.

"And as the day approached, I was nervous. Usually, when I'm on a plane, I listen to music, but this time I listened to the azan for three days," Ari added.

3. Not Easy to Recite the Azan

While learning how to recite the azan, Ari realized that it is not easy to make the call to prayer. It is even harder than singing a song.

"And it takes a long time to record it repeatedly, it's better to sing than to recite the azan. Because there are variations in length, but luckily I was guided by the team from Vindes, so it turned out like that," said Ari.

4. Doesn't Want to See the Result

Even after finishing it, Ari didn't want to see the result because he wasn't sure if his recording of the azan would be successful and good.

"And after that, even until today, I haven't seen the result," he concluded.
