Shocking facts have emerged from the mouth of Eva Manurung, the mother of musician Virgoun. Amid public assumptions that custody of the children is in the hands of Inara Rusli, Eva reveals that currently her three grandchildren are being raised by Virgoun.

According to Eva, Virgoun took decisive action by taking his children after learning about an unpleasant incident. Since then, Starla and her siblings have been living with their father.

"Today this incident happened, Virgoun read everything, his friends sent it to him, right? Tomorrow he will take the kids. 'Sorry, I'm taking my kids first, take care of your business first,'" said Eva mimicking her son's words.

Eva claims that the psychological condition of her grandchildren is much better when they are with Virgoun. She asked the media to pay attention to the children's facial expressions, which she believes look more cheerful and happy.

"Try to look at their faces. It's because their Daddy is someone who never... never acts that way (harsh)," Eva said when met in the Mampang area, South Jakarta, on Monday (15/12/2025).

Eva considers Virgoun to be a patient father who never resorts to physical discipline in raising children, which is 180 degrees different from Inara's parenting style, which she accused of being strict. This difference is what makes the children feel more comfortable and happy with their father. "Oh far, like heaven and earth. The parenting is different, right? Different! Even with me, it’s different," Eva emphasized.

Nevertheless, Eva admitted that she has not met her grandchildren in person since they started living with Virgoun. Communication has only been through phone calls with the typical jokes between a grandmother and her grandchildren. "I haven't met them. Not face to face, not yet. (On the phone, I said) 'The signal here is bad...'," she said while laughing.

In the future, Eva hopes this issue will be resolved quickly and her grandchildren can return to school peacefully, possibly through homeschooling as planned by Virgoun. "I hope it gets resolved soon. Right? My grandchildren, according to Virgoun, will be homeschooled again," Eva concluded.
