Virnie Ismail Experiences an Accident While Cycling, Turns Out a Gallon Fell from a Truck Caused It

The cycling accident experienced by the Extravaganza star happened in the Bintaro area, South Tangerang. Dessi Soraya, who is both the manager and older sister of Virnie Ismail, explained how the accident happened.

Dessi did not witness the incident directly. She said she heard the news from a friend.

"So, in the morning, I received news from my friend, who happened to be a cyclist in Bintaro. He contacted me to inform that my sister (Virnie Ismail) fell," said Dessi Soraya when met in the Bintaro area, South Tangerang, on Thursday (12/8).

Certainly, when I heard the news, I was shocked because Virnie Ismail was cycling alone at that time. Dessi Soraya also knew how Virnie Ismail's condition was that morning, apparently lacking sleep because she stayed up late working on her college assignments.

"She never cycles with a community, she always cycles alone. She also obediently cycles, never speeding and always wearing a mask," she said.

"At night, she was working on her college assignments because she was studying again, then in the morning, she woke me up with a message 'do you want to go cycling?' She wanted to cycle but lacked sleep, I told her not to force it. Maybe because she wanted to refresh, she finally went out," she continued.

After investigating, it turned out that the accident did not happen because of Virnie Ismail's own negligence, but because she fell after being hit by a gallon from a truck in front of her. Due to the accident, Virnie Ismail suffered injuries to her face.

"When she was cycling, she saw a reckless truck. So she stopped on the side, then there was smoke on the road and she followed the road. She just got a new bike and it's faster, she didn't know that suddenly there was a gallon coming out of the truck, one of them fell right in front of her bike," she concluded.

2. Suffered a Severe Injury on the Face

The impact of a bicycle accident that Virnie Ismail experienced yesterday caused injuries on her face. When she fell, her left cheek rubbed against the asphalt, so it had to be treated aesthetically.

"Virnie fell forward, so her face rubbed against the asphalt. So the injury is on the left side of her face," said Dessi Soraya, Virnie Ismail's sister, when met in the Bintaro area, South Tangerang, on Thursday (12/8).

"The most severe injury is on the face. Later, it will be treated aesthetically once the bruising has improved," she continued.

Dessi Soraya also mentioned that there was blood clotting under Virnie's left eye. There are also several wounds on her body, but fortunately, Virnie's motor nerves are still functioning well.

"We have done a CT scan, and there is blood clotting. Also, there is a crack here (under the eye), but according to the neurologist, her motor nerves are still good," she said.
