Ruben Onsu has just completed the traditional procession in Betrand Peto's village. Now, upon returning from Flores, NTT, Ruben tells some important things from his meeting with Betrand's family. From traditional ceremonies to red carpet, this is Ruben Onsu's story in Betrand's hometown.

Ruben mentioned that during the ceremony, he only met Betrand's immediate family. Meanwhile, Betrand was placed in a separate room.
"Betrand was given a special reading, however, his spirit remains there, entrusted to be raised by me and Wenda," said Ruben when recently interviewed.
After the prayer, Ruben was carried and handed over by his parents to Ruben. Chicken blood was placed on Ruben, Wenda, and Betrand's palms, feet, and chest.
"Because Wenda and I have been trusted as parents. We are considered as a family in Pinggong Manggarai," Ruben continued.
The presence of Sarwendah and Ruben was warmly welcomed by the surrounding residents. In fact, this enthusiasm made them cancel visiting several destinations.
"There were so many people, we couldn't go anywhere. Even though Betrand wanted to show his parents the places. He wanted his mom and dad to know, but because of limited time, I said we will come here again later," Ruben added.
"What touched me was when from Labuan Bajo to Ruteng, especially when I got off the plane in Ruteng with a red carpet. Who am I, really," Ruben concluded emotionally.
