Kapanlagi.com - Former wife of Vicky Prasetyo, Vivi Paris claims to be a victim of fraud and asset embezzlement. Her house located in Kemang, South Jakarta suddenly changed name, even though she did not feel any buying and selling transactions.
The incident started in 2014 when she entrusted her house certificate to her business partner named Muhammad James Falahudin to be entrusted to a notary.
"Initially, I entrusted my house certificate to the notary through my business partner, James, for certain reasons. Then I checked with BPN in 2015, it turned out that my house certificate had changed ownership to Alexandria, even though I never intended to sell it and never received any money from him," said Vivi Paris at the South Jakarta Police, Wednesday (16/8/2023).
Recently, Vivi found out that her house certificate was being sold by an unknown woman who claimed to be her. In order to retrieve her house certificate from the notary, the woman changed her identity and forged her signature.
"This notary has never met me. He gave it because my identity was forged by someone claiming to be me," said Vivi.
She reported the incident to the Metro Jaya Regional Police in 2015. Vivi then reported it again to the South Jakarta Metro Police in 2023.
"There has actually been a report to the police and a suspect has emerged.
This year, I reported again that I reported James," said Vivi. "With charges under Article 372 and 378 of the Criminal Code, fraud and embezzlement," said Vivi's lawyer.
Unfortunately, she is now caught in legal trouble because someone reported her for allegedly trespassing on her own property without permission.
"I was reported for the alleged criminal act of trespassing on the property without permission. I was shocked because the address mentioned is my own house that I have lived in for decades. That's why I want clarification," she said.
