Wait for Good Faith from Jefri Nichol, Falcon Gives Three Weeks for Mediation

Kapanlagi.com - The trial process of the alleged breach of contract case involving Jefri Nichol is still ongoing at the South Jakarta District Court. The judge has given three weeks for both parties to mediate.

This was directly conveyed by the legal counsel of Falcon Pictures Production House, Susy Tan, when contacted by phone on Monday (20/7). Susy stated that there has been no response from Jefri Nichol regarding the mediation process for the case.

“No, it has been postponed for three weeks for reconciliation since last week. Until today, there has been no positive response from JN's side,” said Susy.

1. Keep Opening Up

According to Susy, Falcon Pictures is still open to the possibility of mediation, but they are still waiting for good intentions from the Dear Nathan film actors. Previously, Falcon Pictures asked Jefri to star in four of their films, but until now they have not found seriousness from the defendant regarding the request.

"It's different if we ask for the money back, that's not what we want, what we want is for him to act in the film, if he seriously responds, then he should make a schedule, like this date to this date. We agree to give JN the opportunity to determine when he can act in the film, so if JN doesn't give a schedule, what should we do? There's no meeting, right? It means there is no good intention from our perspective. If there is no good intention, then just continue," he said.

2. Give Freedom

According to Susy, they have given Jefri the freedom to start starring in the offered film. However, until now, Jefri has not provided a schedule that allows him to be involved in the four film projects.

"If he had good intentions, he could say, 'let's start with one or two next year, how about that?' That's called having good intentions. If he doesn't offer or inform about his schedule, then it means he doesn't have good intentions," said Susy.

If mediation does not yield results, Falcon Pictures will return to their lawsuit. Susy also emphasized that they are no longer just disappointed, but also experiencing business losses.
