Kapanlagi.com - The daughter of presenter Ramzi, Asila Maisa is truly serious about becoming a singer. She has just released her latest single titled Menanti Waktu under the LESLAR Record label.
When met in Kemang, South Jakarta, Wednesday (1/5), Asila mentioned that since she was a child, she has fallen in love with the world of singing. After that, her father directed her to take vocal lessons so that Asila Maisa's talent could be honed.
"I want to sing, I love singing, because when I was a child, I was super confident with my voice and I always went to any artist's shooting location, Abi's (Ramzi) at that time, when I was 7 years old," said Asila Maisa.
"Then I took lessons, with Kak Melly, I changed because I was already a teenager to Kak Atra, I wanted to release a song so I changed again to Kak Naomi," she continued.

When asked who her role model in singing is, this 18-year-old girl admitted that she wants to be like Ariana Grande.
"I want to be like any Diva in Indonesia. If it's overseas, I want to be like Ariana Grande," she said.

However, Asila admits that she is still learning to improve her vocal skills. She even admits that she is still hesitant to release a new song with an upbeat rhythm.
"I'm more into ballads for now, I don't have the courage to release an upbeat song," she said.
