Want to Focus Without Leaving Prayer, Edwin Super Bejo Doesn't Want to be Called Hijrah - Just Wants to Be Better Every Day

Kapanlagi.com - Teuku Edwin, also known as Edwin Super Bejo, is a presenter who once ventured into the entertainment world as his golden age. However, he is no longer focused on chasing the world.

Edwin prefers to deepen his knowledge of religion. He tries not to leave prayer.

Many say that Edwin Super Bejo is following in the footsteps of his duo partner, Jodhy, who converted in 2022. Regarding this matter, Edwin does not want to call himself a convert, but only wants to become a better person every day.

"I dare not say that I have converted, afraid of being compared to those who have truly converted. The main thing is that I want to be better than yesterday," said Teuku Edwin in the SCBD area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (22/8/2023).

1. Pray for Continual Istiqomah

Despite denying the term hijrah, Edwin still asks for prayers to be able to continue istiqomah in practicing religious laws. Edwin feels that until now he has still committed many sins. 

"Regarding worship, pray for istiqomah. If there are mistakes, everyone makes mistakes, just ask for forgiveness istighfar. It turns out that worship is between our hearts, not wanting to be seen as I am like this or that. The one responsible to God is ourselves," he said.

2. Focus on Carrying Out God's Commands

Currently, Edwin admits that he will try to carry out what God has commanded. One of his focuses is to not neglect prayer. 

"Just do it. When it's time to pray, pray, don't miss it," said Edwin.

3. Edwin Super Bejo's New Busyness

Currently, Edwin is no longer active in the entertainment industry or taking on jobs as a presenter. His current busyness is in trading, just like Prophet Muhammad SAW. 

"The Prophet used to trade, it's a good job with blessings and rewards, but it has to be done correctly. If it's not done correctly, it's sinful," Edwin concluded.
