Want to Get Custody of Gala Sky, Vanessa Angel's In-Laws Sue Doddy Sudrajat

Kapanlagi.com - Vanessa Angel's late mother-in-law, Faisal, is determined to obtain guardianship over Gala Sky Andriansyah. After experiencing obstacles when applying for guardianship over Gala, Faisal took legal action by filing a lawsuit in the West Jakarta Religious Court on Friday, December 3, 2021.

In the lawsuit registered with case number 3315/Pdt.G/2021/PA.JB, Faisal filed a lawsuit to obtain custody of Gala Sky against defendant Doddy Sudrajat, the late Vanessa Angel's father.

"On Friday, December 3, Mr. Faisal, accompanied by his wife and legal counsel, filed a lawsuit for guardianship over Gala Sky. The defendant is Mr. Doddy Sudrajat," said H. Soleman, M.H., a spokesperson for the West Jakarta Religious Court, at his office on Monday, December 6, 2021.

1. Doddy Sudrajat Changes His Mind

Previously, Faisal had submitted a request for guardianship to the West Jakarta Religious Court. However, Faisal's power of attorney withdrew the request.

This is because Doddy Sudrajat, who initially agreed to give custody of Gala to Faisal, changed his mind during the first hearing on November 30, 2021.

"Yesterday, it was a request. Because Mr. Doddy disagreed, that's why the request was withdrawn. Now it takes the form of a lawsuit. If Mr. Doddy had agreed yesterday, the decision could have been made that day," he said.

2. Want to Take Care of Gala Sky

According to Soleman, in their lawsuit, Faisal and his wife requested the Panel of Judges to fulfill their desire to take care of, nurture, and educate Gala Sky Andriansyah.

"So the plaintiffs are Mr. Faisal and his wife, and the defendant is Mr. Doddy. The plaintiffs want to establish legal rights to custody over their grandchild named Gala Sky," he said.

The first hearing for the custody lawsuit of Gala Sky is scheduled to be held on December 15, 2021, with a mediation agenda. "The first hearing is on December 15, Wednesday. The agenda is mediation. Both the plaintiffs and the defendant are expected to be present," he said.

3. Petition to Boycott Doddy Sudrajat

The departure of Vanessa Angel has left behind a lot of conflicts within her family. As it is known, Vanessa's father named Doddy Sudrajat had demanded custody of Gala Sky and the inheritance of his late daughter.

Furthermore, the latest news is that Doddy Sudrajat has stated that he will move Vanessa Angel's grave. Because of this, netizens have decided to take action through a petition.

The petition contains an invitation to boycott Doddy Sudrajat from TV. It seems that Doddy's recent actions have caused concern among netizens.

4. Reasons for Creating the Petition

The petition on change.org was created by Jessica D last week. In the description column, she listed the reasons why she wants to boycott Doddy.

"The father of the late Vanessa Angel has caused a lot of distress by entering the TV world with controversies that truly make netizens angry," she wrote in the description column.

"Less than 40 days after the death of his child and daughter-in-law, he has started slandering and seeking sympathy from others in the wrong way," Jessica continued.

5. Hoping for a Boycott

Not stopping there, the petitioner also hopes that Doddy will no longer appear on television stations. He also mentioned Mayang, who dedicated a song for Vanessa's 40th day.

"That's why I hope with this petition, the father of the late Vanessa Angel or Doddy Sudrajat can be boycotted from any TV or channel because this has become very disturbing," Jessica emphasized.

"Especially since he already has a grandchild named Gala who should be prioritized over his late sister (MAYANG)," she continued.
