Kapanlagi.com - The South Jakarta Religious Court held another session of the divorce trial between Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan on Monday, April 1, 2024. This time, the agenda of the trial heard the testimony of Ryan as the defendant.
Teuku Ryan brings one witness to the continuation of his divorce trial with Ria Ricis. In this trial, Ryan brought Derry Syaputra, his former manager and also a friend of his and Ricis.
"Today, in addition to the additional evidence from the plaintiff, there is also a letter of evidence. It was received by the panel. Earlier, we presented the letter of evidence and one witness," said Dedi Rizal Armidi, Teuku Ryan's legal representative, at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Monday, April 1, 2024.
"The witness, Derry, has given his testimony and it was very good," he added.

Dedi said that Derry has provided his testimony comprehensively. According to him, the testimony can contribute to the efforts to maintain the household of Ricis and Ryan.
"So there is no need to doubt, his statement is comprehensive enough, clear enough, and can build and most importantly, he wants to keep Rian and Ricis together," he said.

Dedi admitted that he cannot disclose Derry's testimony in detail during the trial. He said that it is already within the jurisdiction of the court and cannot be revealed to the public.
"But the essence is, Derry provided a very good explanation, comprehensive, and we are satisfied. Hopefully, this will be noted by the panel that both parties are given their own space and time to resolve their issues," said Dedi.

The divorce hearing of Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan is scheduled to be held again on April 22, 2024. Dedi admitted that they will bring another witness and a letter of evidence to the next hearing.
"The next hearing will be on April 22, and there will be another letter of evidence from us and another witness, which is the biological father of the defendant," concluded Dedi Rizal Armidi.
