Want to Realize His Late Father's Dream, Jeje Govinda Enters the World of Politics

Kapanlagi.com - Ritchie Ismail, or better known as Jeje Govinda, has decided to enter the world of politics. Not alone, his sister-in-law Nisya Ahmad also decided to run for office from the National Mandate Party (PAN).

Jeje said that his late father really wanted to enter the world of politics during his lifetime. That's why, Syahnaz Sadiqah's husband wants to fulfill his late father's wish.

Moreover, Jeje said that he has known Putri Zulkifli Hasan, the Deputy Chairwoman of PUAN PAN, for quite a long time. Finally, he decided to join PAN.

"Actually, I've known Mbak Puput for a long time, I know her through Raffi. But only now I introduced myself," Jeje said in the area of Jalan Buncit Raya Pulo Kalibata, South Jakarta, on Monday (7/8/2023).

"My late father didn't have a chance to enter politics, he didn't fulfill his dream. God willing, I can continue my father's dream," Jeje added.

After many discussions, Jeje noticed that many artists and young people also joined the party. Of course, Govinda, the drummer, imagined the comfort of being involved in it.

"PAN has many young people. Many of them also have a background in music and art. I feel comfortable being accepted here," said Jeje.

"There are also artists like Mas Eko, Mas Primus. I hope I can be successful like them," Jeje continued.

2. Wants to Serve in Birthplace

For Jeje himself, he plans to run as a legislative candidate for the Indonesian Parliament in the West Java electoral district 2, and he hopes to join commission X. Meanwhile, Nisya Ahmad is running as a legislative candidate for the West Java Provincial Parliament.

"I want to serve in my hometown in West Java," Jeje concluded.
