Wanted to Escape from Covid-19 Quarantine Like Rachel Vennya, Denny Sumargo: No Way!

In addition to Rachel Vennya, there are many other Indonesian artists who also went to America at that time, one of them is Denny Sumargo. Following health protocols, upon arriving in Indonesia, Denny Sumargo and his wife, Olivia, underwent quarantine for eight days at a famous hotel in Jakarta.

However, apparently, Denny Sumargo admitted that he had thought about not wanting to undergo quarantine after returning from abroad. He expressed this when he was met at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, not long ago.

"Because at first, I also thought about what would happen if I didn't quarantine," said Denny Sumargo.

However, he eventually dismissed that thought. Denny Sumargo still followed the procedures imposed by the Indonesian government to undergo Covid 19 quarantine.

"Turns out I thought, no way, I'll just quarantine properly. It's not good (if I don't quarantine)," he said.

Not only that, Denny also admitted that all the artists involved in the Erigo project in the United States received money for quarantine provisions. He also explained how strict the process was to reach the quarantine, making escape impossible.

"There is a budget from Erigo for quarantine, if you want to upgrade, it's fine. The process to get there is really strict," he explained.

"Especially when I arrived at the hotel, I felt like a bribery suspect, I thought 'Are you this strict, sir?' He said 'Yes, sir, I apologize because if we violate the rules, we will be reprimanded by the government. Our permit can be revoked'. I would be sad if my permit is revoked. So I thought, well, that's it," he concluded.
