TikToker Galih Noval Aji Prakoso or Galih Loss was presented during the press release of the alleged blasphemy case conducted by the Jakarta Metro Police. Wearing an orange prisoner's shirt with his hands tied using cable ties, Galih apologized.

"I want to apologize to the entire Muslim community for the actions I have done and the uproar on social media," said Galih, who could only bow his head, on Friday (26/4/2024).

On that occasion, the media asked the man who had been designated as a suspect about the motive behind creating content that was deemed to have blasphemed Islam.

"I apologize sincerely. The intention was to entertain," said Galih.

Galih also expressed his deep regret for the action that has caused a commotion among the Indonesian society with the content he created. "I regret it and I apologize," said Galih.

Galih admitted that he has learned his lesson and will no longer create content that will be uploaded to social media without careful consideration.

"I will create more positive videos in the future," he concluded.

As known, Galih created a question and answer content with a young boy. In the video, he then asked, "What animal can recite the Quran?" The little boy answered with a response that was considered incorrect.

Galih then revealed the correct answer. According to Galih, the correct answer is Serigala. "Serigala, auuuuudzubillahiminasyaitonirojim," Galih answered.

Galih himself was arrested on Monday (22/4/2024) night on Jalan Kampung Burangkeng, Burangkeng, Setu, Bekasi, West Java. From the investigation, it was found that Galih Loss is the owner of the @galihloss3 account that uploaded the blasphemous video.

Galih has now been declared a suspect and detained. In relation to this case, Galih is charged under Article 28 paragraph 2 of Law Number 11 Year 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE Law) and Article 156 of the Criminal Code with a maximum punishment of 6 years imprisonment.
