Athalla as Verrell's younger brother revealed facts about his brother while in the holy land. According to him, Verrel's appearance often made people there amazed and many thought that he was from the royal family.

"People thought that he was from the royal family because of his outfit. Many asked for photos. But they didn't know who he was," said Athalla at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Monday (9/10/2023).

Meanwhile, Verrel admitted that he was happy to wear a 'gamis' (Islamic clothing) during umrah because he wanted to appear in the best attire while worshiping Allah SWT.

"The analogy is like this, how can we face Allah wearing ordinary clothes. Even in the Quran, it is mentioned that we should wear the best clothing," he said.

Verrel further said, this is his first umrah journey. During umrah, there were many memorable experiences that are difficult to forget.

"It was truly impressive, so it will never be forgotten. Because there were many interesting and funny incidents," said Verrel.

He also revealed his interesting experience during umrah. One of them was when he personally felt the circulating myth that good and bad deeds will be rewarded in the holy land of Mecca.

"It is said that whatever we do here (in Indonesia), whether good or bad, will be immediately rewarded there, and I really felt it from the good responses to the bad ones," said Verrel without explaining in detail what kind of responses he received.

In addition, when I first arrived in the holy land, I fell ill and worried that I wouldn't be able to perform the rituals properly. However, when the time came to perform the umrah, I experienced a miracle.

"I was sick for a while. But when I was healthy during the umrah, Alhamdulillah, I was able to perform all the rituals from the beginning, Ihram, tawaf sa'i, and others. After finishing, I felt weak again. But the ustaz said it's okay, it's part of the test," he said.

Another interesting moment, Verrel said, was when he was at the Ka'bah and the tomb of Prophet Muhammad. "When I was at the Ka'bah, it was the first time I saw people from all over the world worshiping. There were even backpacker pilgrims," he said.

"When we visited the tomb of Prophet Muhammad, it was really touching, did you cry, dear?" Verrel asked Athalla Naufal. "Yes, I cried," Athalla replied.
