Wearing Hijab during Ramadan, Maudy Koesnaedy Doesn't Want to be Called Beautiful

Maudy Koesnaedy took the time to promote SI DOEL THE MOVIE 2 along with other cast members during Ramadan.

While fasting, they have a unique promotion technique. Maudy and her colleagues held a communal iftar with around 6000 people.

What caught the attention of many people on this occasion was Maudy, who was seen wearing a hijab. She also briefly explained the reason for this.

Maudy explained that for the past few years, she has been wearing a hijab during Ramadan. Her reason is that regular headscarves tend to slip off.

In addition, this year Maudy is also actively involved in managing the tadarusan (Quran recitation) which was previously always organized by her late mother.

Maudy refused when asked if wearing a hijab is a tactic to promote SI DOEL. She simply finds it troublesome to keep taking it off and putting it back on. Besides, her husband allows it too.

Maudy doesn't refuse when someone says she wears a hijab because it's Ramadan. For her, the most important thing is character.

Maudy then explained that wearing hijab during Ramadan helps her to control her desires, emotions, and so on.

A few days before the iftar with the SI DOEL cast, Maudy also attended an event wearing a beautiful hijab. She looks even more graceful.

But Maudy said she wears hijab to be called beautiful, suitable, and it's time to migrate. She doesn't want to be seen as following her friends who have migrated earlier.
