Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier only have two months to prepare for their wedding. However, in that short time, Luna managed to make her wedding go perfectly on Wednesday, (7/5) yesterday.
With such limited time, Luna ordered a wedding dress from designer Hian Tjen. Although Luna requested a custom design, Hian Tjen managed to bring it to life beautifully.
Like Luna Maya's outfit choice throughout the wedding ceremony with Maxime Bouttier, the dress for the reception was also chosen in a simple minimalist style. Luna looked stunning with this simple style.
Luna entrusted the design of her dress to designer Hian Tjen. She also gave him the task of creating the dress quickly, as her wedding preparations only took 2 months.
Hian Tjen accepted Luna's challenge and created a simple and elegant design. The designer chose a spaghetti strap dress with a minimalist cut that still looked luxurious.
Although it looks simple, the process of making Luna's dress was quite complicated. There were several parts that had to be sewn by hand and required several people to complete it.
"Loving each other to the moon and back, the wedding reception of @lunamaya radiates a romantic atmosphere filled with memories and eternal love," said Hian Tjen when posting a video of Luna's gown creation on his Instagram page.
"This is reflected in the white spaghetti strap gown, which whispers luxury in simplicity through the finely cut white floral details — not merely 'hanging', but more like 'gracefully floating' at the back. The skirt then cascades with volume, creating a balance between sweet charm and an overall magical impression — a minimalist look with maximum appeal," continued the designer.
