Wendy Cagur shares valuable experiences this Ramadan after having to undergo treatment in the hospital. His overly packed activities without enough rest caused his body to drop, leading to an acute GERD attack. Check out the full story below!

"Yesterday I was sick, I was laid up and had to be rushed and treated in the hospital because I couldn't manage my time. I should have rested, but I stubbornly continued my activities, going to the gym, and doing this and that," said Wendy when met on Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Tuesday (18/3/2025).

Ayu Natasha's husband admits his mistake of still forcing himself even though his body was already showing signs of fatigue. As a result, he had to stop fasting for several days to recover his body condition.

"I should have not fast for a week, but I stubbornly did it for three days. Oh, maybe I can fast," he said.

Wendy even tried to fast despite not being fully recovered. However, he felt that fasting actually helped improve his metabolism which had previously been disrupted.

"Alhamdulillah, my metabolism has returned to normal, which before was difficult to have a bowel movement, even hard to release gas from my stomach because it was so tight, but because of fasting everything returned to normal," explained Wendy.

This experience has made the father of three more cautious in maintaining his health. He has started to reduce physical activities like going to the gym and focuses on a healthy diet.   "So what I’m maintaining now is not just not exercising, not just not going to the gym, but still following a healthy diet," he stated.

Even though he was briefly hospitalized, Wendy's spirit to work and observe Ramadan did not wane. He continues to enthusiastically participate in various sahur and iftar events on television.   "If we’re talking about spirit, it’s the same spirit as in previous years," said Wendy.
