Widy still remembers that night when she had just finished her basketball practice. She was walking home alone when a group of men abducted her into a car.
"I was just unlucky at that time, the person who picked me up didn't know who I was, they were also drunk. These were random people," she said.
Trying to resist, Widy kept calling her ex-boyfriend. She admitted that she didn't know who else to call besides her ex.
"I tried to resist while struggling to call (my ex). After I was picked up, I told them who I was, and luckily they knew that Widi Vierra had a tattoo," said the 32-year-old woman.
Long story short, Widy managed to convince the kidnappers that she was indeed the vocalist of Vierra. They finally released Widy and dropped her off at a certain point.
"They discussed it and were afraid that I would file a report or something. If the person who was picked up wasn't me, they would have continued to do things inside the car," Widy said.
Widy did not want her case to be known to the public, but it went viral after Kevin revealed it on Twitter. The case also made headlines in the media in 2011. At that time, she had to undergo a medical examination at the hospital.
