Wife Admits to Suffering from Psychological Domestic Violence by Ronal Surapradja, Wants to File for Divorce First

Kapanlagi.com - The household of comedian Ronal Surapradja with Seruni Purnamasari is on the brink of divorce. After 13 years together, Ronal filed for divorce against Runi in the South Jakarta Religious Court.

Knowing that Ronal was the one who filed for divorce, the public speculated negatively about his wife. Represented by her lawyer, it was revealed that Runi was actually the one who wanted to file for divorce first.

"From the beginning, it was his wife who wanted to file, but then Mr. Ronal did it first. This needs to be understood and conveyed because then the perception of Ms. Runi is wrong," said Abdul Hamim Jauzie after the trial on Thursday (21/4/2022).

1. Suffering from Psychological Domestic Violence

From the divorce application material, it was revealed that the household of Ronal Surapradja and Seruni Purnamasari had been discordant since 2012. However, they still held on until problems arose at the end of 2021. Surprisingly, during their marriage, Runi often experienced psychological violence.

"Many, many (psychological violence)," Seruni whispered.

"Domestic violence in the form of psychological abuse is about the behavior of her husband, many things for sure. Basically, I call it domestic violence in the form of psychological abuse," added Abdul Hamim Jauzie.

2. Psychologist Recommendation

Seruni Purnamasari even visited a psychologist. From there, the psychologist recommended that the children should follow their mother.

"I was just informed by Mbak Runi that the psychologist recommended that the children should follow their mother. I stopped by there, the children's mental state is not always affected, but there is a recommendation from the psychologist that the children should follow their mother. That's about it," said Abdul Hamim Jauzie.

3. Only Needing Prayers

Meanwhile, in a separate occasion, Ronal Surapradja only asked for the best prayers for his divorce process. As for reconciliation efforts, he leaves everything to Allah.

"We don't need anything else except the best prayers. Insha Allah, Allah can turn hearts around, I believe. So I'll wait for how the journey goes. What's certain is that I come with love, affection, and care, nothing else," said Ronal firmly.
