Will Anji's Rehabilitation Period End Soon? Will His Detention Be Extended?

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Erdian Aji Prihartanto, or Anji, rehabilitation period will soon come to an end. Anji, who received a recommendation from the BNNP DKI to undergo three months of drug rehabilitation at RSKO Cibubur, East Jakarta, has been undergoing it since July 25.

When asked about it, Alif Maruszama, the Public Prosecutor handling Anji's case, didn't say much. He admitted that he didn't know Anji's fate, whether he would be transferred to a detention center or if Anji's rehabilitation period would be extended.

"I don't know yet. But it can possibly be extended," said Alif Makmun at the West Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (22/9/2021). Anji also mentioned the rehabilitation period he had undergone in the ongoing trial of the case against him.

Unfortunately, Anji, who attended the trial virtually, could not continue his words. The judge requested him to stop speaking and change the topic of conversation.

2. Almost Over

"My rehabilitation period is almost over, Your Honor. I have been undergoing it for almost three months," said Anji. Currently, Anji's case is in the trial process at the West Jakarta District Court. Anji chose not to use a lawyer to defend himself.

In the first trial, Anji was charged with Article 111 and 127 of Law No. 35 of 2009, with a maximum sentence of 12 years in prison. As it is known, Anji was arrested by the West Jakarta Metropolitan Police narcotics unit on June 11, 2021, with evidence of marijuana, marijuana sticks, and marijuana seeds weighing a total of 30 grams.
