"It was a long time ago (the incident). I don't remember what year it was. I was there too. They were wearing hijabs or something like that, and our guide told us that they were BTS," said Yusuf Mansur during the grand graduation ceremony of Quranic memorization at Daarul Quran Islamic Boarding School, Cipondoh, Tangerang, on Saturday night (2/7/2022).

The caretaker of Daarul Quran Islamic Boarding School admitted that he was not familiar with BTS when he met the boyband that has many fans in Indonesia. The same goes for his daughter.
"Back then, I didn't know what BTS was either. All I knew was BTS tower, and Wirda didn't know either," he said.

Furthermore, Yusuf Mansur suspects that the video of his daughter's statement about meeting BTS has been edited, causing misunderstandings among the public.
"Wirda said it in this context, you know, even those who don't pray can meet them, let alone those who do. That's what Wirda meant. The part about not sending blessings is often cut off. Our family is known for cutting things off," Yusuf Mansur said while laughing.
Wirda Mansur became a topic of discussion when a video of her talking with her friends about meeting BTS circulated on social media.
"I've met them before. But at that time, I didn't know who BTS was. I don't know why, sometimes when we don't know each other well, we tend to meet," said Wirda Mansur.
