Kapanlagi.com - Soleh Solihun recently expressed his frustration on his social media account. This Bandung comedian complains because his social media YouTube account is being billed by the tax authorities even though he no longer earns money from the platform.

It is known that Soleh Solihun does have a YouTube account and shares interview content with several public figures. Similar to other YouTubers, adsense tax is often imposed on them.

However, this comedian denies the tax claim directed at him. He argues that he hasn't earned any income from his YouTube content for a long time, KLovers.

"I only got money from YouTube for 2 months in 2018," said Soleh Solihun on his personal social media account X (Twitter).

1. Show Proof

Soleh Solihun's expression of frustration because he was being taxed for his YouTube content also included a photo. The photo is evidence of his income from YouTube in 2018.

That was the last time Soleh Solihun received income from his YouTube account in 2018.

"I have been given proof three times from my YouTube revenue page that I earned money from YouTube for only 3 months in 2018, after that my AdSense account was suspended and I didn't earn money anymore," he wrote.

2. Still Don't Believe

Unfortunately, despite the evidence provided by Soleh Solihun, the Indonesian Ministry of Finance has not stopped bothering him about this tax issue.

"The tax authorities still don't believe. Even though it's easy to cross-check. Just watch my YouTube," Soleh Solihun continued.

3. This is the Response from the Ministry of Finance

In response to Soleh Solihun's expression of frustration on social media, Ministry of Finance spokesperson, Prastowo Yustinus, replied to Soleh Solihun's complaint. He also invited the comedian to resolve the issue directly.

"Please provide explanations, evidence, and other relevant documents later. The Tax Directorate General will follow up according to the regulations, including explanations/evidence from you," commented Prastowo Yustinus through the X account.

When asked by Bisnis Liputan6 channel about Soleh Solihun's complaint, Yustinus stated that it was not about collecting taxes. However, it was about requesting clarification of data.

“This is not about collecting taxes. It's a request for data clarification,” he explained.
