Zaskia had some doubts about going, as her two children were not in good health. Bhre Kata had just undergone surgery, while Bhaj Kama had just been discharged from the hospital due to bronchopneumonia. However, both of Zaskia's children gave their blessing to their mother to go to Aceh.

As of this news being published, the total number of fatalities due to the floods and landslides in Sumatra has reached 442 people, while 402 others are still missing. The Head of BNPB, Lieutenant General TNI Suharyanto, stated that the situation in Sumatra is not as dire as portrayed on social media."It does look alarming on social media. However, after we arrived, many areas are no longer experiencing rain and the situation is more stable," he said as reported by Tribunnews on Sunday, (30/11) yesterday.

Suharyanto's statement has since been criticized by many parties, as it is considered inconsistent with the conditions on the ground. Many are now calling for the floods in Sumatra to be declared a state of emergency and a national disaster, given the vast areas affected by the floods and landslides due to the tropical cyclone.

Currently, there are still many victims of floods and landslides who are trapped in isolated areas. The government and volunteers are still working on evacuations and distributing aid to various locations.
