Zaskia Adya Mecca Tells the Chronology of Her Child Entering the ICU due to Pneumonia, Sending a Message 'I Can't Breathe'

Kapanlagi.com - Zaskia Adya Mecca was worried about the condition of one of her children, Bhai Kaba, who had to be taken to the ICU of the hospital. Bhai Kaba had to receive medical treatment due to pneumonia and asthma. This is not the first time the 8-year-old child has been lying weak in the hospital. Previously, Bhai Kaba had experienced a similar situation.

When met in the Alam Sutera area, Tangerang, recently, Zaskia Adya Mecca explained the chronology before her child entered the hospital. She said that Bhai Kaba had sent her a WhatsApp message complaining of shortness of breath and difficulty breathing.

"Yes, so he WhatsApped me, 'Bia, I can't breathe. Please come home now.' I know, when my children contact me themselves, it means that they miss me or need me to come home quickly," said Zaskia Adya Mecca.

Upon arriving home, Zaskia immediately took her child to the hospital. She also explained that Bhai Kaba's breath was very short and worrying.

Due to the unchanged condition, Zaskia Adya Mecca rushed her child to the ICU. She mentioned that if her child's breath worsened, Bhai Kaba would have to use a ventilator.

"At first, the saturation was safe, 97. But after that hah-heh hah-heh, the breath became short. The saturation dropped to 89 and then used a nebulizer," she said.

"The worst-case scenario was explained that if the saturation doesn't increase and the breath doesn't improve, a ventilator must be used," she added.

2. Quickly Receiving Medical Treatment

After receiving treatment from the medical team, fortunately, Bhai Kaba's condition started to improve. After that, Bhai Kaba was also said to have been discharged from the ICU.

"My child's condition is starting to stabilize, the saturation is increasing, and now he's starting to learn to remove the oxygen when the breath is still heard haaah heeh," she concluded.
