Zaskia Sungkar Was Warned by Her Mother for Being Pregnant Again in Her 30s

Kapanlagi.com - The decision of Zaskia Sungkar and Irwansyah to add another child has received full support from their extended family, especially from Zaskia's mother, Fenny Bauty. Apparently, the encouragement from their parents has been one of the main driving forces for them to immediately undergo a second child program.

The 34-year-old woman revealed that her mother is one of the happiest people to hear the news of her second pregnancy.

"Happy, Alhamdulillah. Yes, everyone is happy, especially Mama," said Zaskia Sungkar when met in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Thursday (18/9/2015).

1. Not Delaying Having More Children

According to her, their parents have long suggested not to delay having more children, considering Zaskia's increasing age.

"Mom, Mom and Dad Irwan are really the ones who keep saying, 'Come on, hurry up and program again,' like that. Because of getting older, you know, they're worried," she explained.

Even though it was met with happiness, Zaskia even mimicked her mother's words who often compared the age at which she gave birth before with Zaskia's current age as a reminder.

"Just like Mom, 'Mom gave birth last at age 20 something, how old are you now?' Most often reminding me like that," said Zaskia.

3. Confidently Continuing the IVF Program

The warnings and encouragement from the family finally solidified their hearts to immediately start the IVF program again.

"Finally, we were like, 'Oh, okay, let's start.' Just like that. So when it was positive, especially Mama was the happiest," she concluded.

In an Instagram post a while ago, Zaskia Sungkar showed the moment of the ultrasound check and the heartbeat of the fetus in the womb. "To the new chapter. Masya Allah, Tabarakallah," Zaskia expressed with gratitude (7/9).
