Ziva Magnolya Makes Acting Debut in 'PULANG' Movie, Admits to Being Afraid of Meeting Ringgo Agus Rahman

Kapanlagi.com - Ziva Magnolya made her acting debut in a streaming film titled PULANG. In the road movie directed by Azhar Kinoi Lubis, Ziva played the role of a girl named Rindu who has to face the reality that her parents are getting divorced.

Throughout the film, Ziva had scenes with Ringgo Agus Rahman and Imelda Therinne who played her parents. She admitted to being scared when she first found out that she would be working with senior actors like them.

"This is my first film, so I was scared when I first met the senior actors. I didn't know how to act around them. But when we finally met, they were cool. We became friends and my worries disappeared," Ziva said, quoted by KapanLagi.com during a virtual conference last Saturday (2/4/2022).

1. Ringgo Often Jokes Around

Ziva Magnolya had a pleasant experience when she first met Ringgo Agus Rahman. As a professional actor, it turned out that her co-star was very welcoming with jokes.

"Kak Ringgo often jokes around, even when we first met. I felt helped a lot by these senior actors. I didn't feel ignored, from the beginning we always discussed to ensure the project went smoothly," said Ziva.

2. Age Difference is Not an Obstacle

Ringgo Agus Rahman also expressed similar sentiments about Ziva Magnolya's performance. Despite being her first film, the Indonesian Idol alumna was very easy to work with.

"For me, Ziva is very cooperative. Age difference is not a barrier for me and Ziva. It's the same with Imelda, I'm happy to be able to work with my idol," said Ringgo on the same occasion.

3. Journey to Jogja

The film PULANG will begin streaming on Klik Film on April 2, 2022. It tells the story of Pras who takes his daughter named Rindu on a road trip to Yogyakarta.

During the trip, a secret is revealed when Pras decides to divorce. Rindu is clearly not happy and becomes angry.
