Fauzul Abadi, or more commonly known as Faul LIDA, was crowned as the best dangdut singer in Asia at the Dangdut Academy Asia 5 event on Sunday (29/12). Faul emerged as the champion after surpassing two competitors in terms of scores.

Faul performed twice in the Dangdut Academy Asia 5 Victory Concert last night. First, he performed solo and then he duetted with Rara.
Appearing with the song Gulali by Rhoma Irama combined with Acehnese culture, Faul managed to amaze the judges. As a result, he received five standing ovations.
Faul was accompanied by his family and two other contestants, Randa LIDA and Hannah Prescillas from the Philippines.
With a score of 2723, Faul successfully became the champion in the Dangdut Academy Asia 5 event.
Faul's victory was warmly welcomed and embraced by the judges and Dangdut Academy Asia 5.
In this event, Hannah Prescillas, the only female finalist from the Philippines, successfully became the third champion with a score of 2692.
And the second place went to another Indonesian participant, who is also a graduate of LIDA, Randa. He obtained a total score of 2686.
This is the moment when Faul LIDA, after being announced as the champion of Dangdut Academy Asia 5.
By becoming the champion, Faul successfully brought home the main prize worth Rp 200 million and a bonus of Rp 50 million.
