Until now, the Ruwatan ritual is still believed and carried out by some communities from generation to generation. Soimah is included in the group that carries out this tradition.

Families with two boys are advised to perform the traditional ruwatan ceremony. Generally, the event is held for a full day, preparing various equipment to perfect this ritual.
