2 Years as a Judge in LIDA, Lesti Kejora Admits Feeling Burdened Because She is the Youngest

Kapanlagi.com - Having experienced the weight of the struggle as a participant in Dangdut Academy, now Lesti Kejora has been appointed as one of the judges in LIDA. Lesti has been sitting on the judging panel for 2 years alongside top dangdut singers.

Lesti admitted that she was initially hesitant when offered to be a judge in LIDA 2020. She tried to convince herself and the relevant parties whether she was truly worthy of being a judge.

"At first, it was in 2020, I made sure again, asked again, is this real (being asked to be a judge)? Are you sure I'm worthy?" she said.

"Then the consideration from here (Indosiar) thankfully provides an extraordinary platform for me to develop everything that I have, especially," Lesti continued.

1. Great Responsibility

Sitting in the jury chair is not an easy task according to Lesti. There is a great responsibility that she has to bear when giving comments to each participant who performs.

"It can be said that (it's difficult) because the responsibility is huge. I mean, when what we convey to the participants must be in accordance with what is seen in their performance," she said.

"Here, we are all learning together, sharing experiences. Because I have also participated in competitions twice. So to some extent, I know how it feels, what strategies need to be formed," added Rizky Billar's girlfriend.

2. Youngest Judge

Lesti also admitted that she feels pressure sitting in the jury chair, especially since she is the youngest.

"Yes, there is pressure. Because it's not easy to sit here. The responsibility is also heavy. We have to provide input that can truly develop the participants. We must ensure that what we see is in line, what we convey is in line. We really have to pay attention to the performance of each participant," she concluded.
