In addition to her land, Bella also had to sacrifice her education. "I used to study at Unas until the third semester, but I haven't continued it until now because I want to prioritize my career first," she said. 

Bella's achievements did not come without struggle. At least her father once sold land to provide capital for Bella to enter the dangdut industry. "My dad even sold land in the village to fund me becoming a singer, but at that time my song didn't become popular. That's why now, I want to repay the favor," explained Bella.

From loving acting to switching to the world of Dangdut, Bella's choice was not without reason. "Dangdut is easier to make money from, unlike acting which can be tiring. I can meet people from morning till night. When I sing, I am happy and can entertain many people," said Bella.

Moreover, her desire to pursue the art world is fully supported by her parents. It's no wonder that her career has been smooth and she can now buy a car. "Alhamdulillah, I can already buy a car and take my parents for Umrah. And now I'm saving," she said.

Bella's love for the art world has been there since she was young. She once delved into acting before diving into Dangdut. "I got a role in the movie Kabayan Main Ludruk. Besides being an actor, I was also asked to be a soundtrack singer. That was my first time entering the recording studio. From there, I became interested in becoming a singer," continued Bella.

Although she was stressed by the criticism, Bella didn't give up on releasing her work. "This month, I plan to release a single titled Taman Safari. It's a song that Tatjana Saphira previously performed for the Hit & Run movie soundtrack. But my version of the song is different in terms of music, as I made it a Reggae Dangdut," Bella said.

After releasing the song, Bella received criticism from her listeners! "I became the target of netizens' criticism instead of receiving praise. It's because some of the lyrics are considered absurd, and people assume negative things. But in fact, the lyrics support women," she explained when met at the KLY office in Jakarta on Monday (8/12/2019).

Bella Nova is not only known for her closeness to Hotman Paris, but also for her song titled Ikan Asin (Salted Fish). She admitted that the song was inspired by the Salted Fish case that was widely discussed some time ago.
