8 Portraits of Ratna, South Kalimantan Ambassador in LIDA 2021 - A Fisherman's Child Who is Fluent in Arabic, Always Receives the Highest Polling!

As reported by Banjarmasin Post, Ratna has released several local songs. She has also won several dangdut competitions in Kotabaru Regency and Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan. 

Ratna's struggle in the LIDA 2021 event has received support from Syairi Mukhlis, Chairman of the Kotabaru South Kalimantan Regional People's Representative Council. He invited all Kotabaru residents to support and pray for her success in this event (via aphakabar.com).

Ratna, who performed four songs in the audition round, always receives full support from her supporters. In the Top 70 and Top 56 rounds, she always receives the highest polling.

A photo of Ratna with her idol, Selfi LIDA. Ratna can apparently speak Arabic as well. In the Top 70 round, she was asked to speak in Arabic with Nassar. She admitted that she has been learning since she was in school.

In her latest performance in the Top 56 round, Ratna performed a song titled 'Mimpi Terindah' composed by Choosy Pratama. Her performance successfully impressed the judges. She received 3 Standing Ovations (SO) out of a total of 4 judges.

She shared that her father had experienced an unpleasant incident while at sea in Masalembo waters. The ship her father and 5 of his colleagues were on sank. Her father was stranded at sea for four days. They only held onto styrofoam (fish storage containers).

Ratna, who was still in her first year of high school at that time, was shocked to hear the news. Her mother's health immediately deteriorated. Since there was no news, neighbors and relatives declared her father dead and held a memorial service.

Apparently, God still gives them a lifespan. The father and his companion were found in a weak and frail condition in Lamongan at that time. They received help from the local residents.
