"Before being in this position, I definitely had a past, I used to be a babysitter, I used to be a maid, it seems like I've done and gone through everything until finally, I sang from stage to stage and dared to participate in singing competitions to pursue a career. It turns out that Allah has given an extraordinary fortune so that Evi can become the champion," she continued.

Until now, Evi Masamba still can't believe that she is able to achieve her dreams one by one. However, there are still netizens who underestimate her, but Evi doesn't care about it.

Moreover, Evi considers those criticisms as normal. According to her, only herself and close ones know her career journey so far. "Until now, it's been 9 years and one by one, my dreams have come true," she said.

"It's normal, there are even people who often say that I'm arrogant but they don't know my struggle. It's not easy to be at this point, oh my, it took 9 years to achieve all of this, there were a lot of tears and sweat," she concluded.
