After Success with 'Dibalik Kelambu', Duo Geboy Prepares Several New Hit Singles at Once

Kapanlagi.com - Duo Geboy also enlivens the competition in the Indonesian dangdut music industry. The duo, led by Ida Wulandari and Amoy Cimoy, has introduced their hit single titled Di Balik Kelambu some time ago and received a fairly positive response from music lovers in the country.

This single from Duo Geboy is created by Anggara Putri Tania or affectionately known as Bu Haji. Ida also shared how she formed a duet with Amoy.

"Initially, I sang from stage to stage, year after year with Bu Haji, then she gave me a song. At first, it was a solo single, then I was asked to find a duet partner, and when I met Amoy on stage, I immediately invited her. Alhamdulillah, it was an instant match," said Ida in a press release received by KapanLagi.com.

The single Behind the Mosquito Net is heavily influenced by modern dangdut music that is upbeat and cheerful. However, the story theme portrayed in the song tends to be melancholic.

"Behind the Mosquito Net tells the story of a woman who always loves a man behind the mosquito net because it is full of pretense. The music is a remix by DJ Kentrung because it is currently popular," said Bu Haji.

"Ida and Amoy's characters are suitable for DJ remixes that are upbeat. If they are given a slow song, it's not suitable because besides their voices, their movements are cute. Duo Geboy has 2 more songs. Mas Bro and CLBK are still in the process," she added.

During the song production process, both Ida and Amoy did not encounter any obstacles. And not only that, Duo Geboy is said to have prepared several other catchy singles, namely Mas Bro and CLBK. 

"Alhamdulillah, it went smoothly when we were given the song, we learned it. Alhamdulillah, the duet went smoothly," concluded Ida.
