Already Considered Family, Employee Reveals the Figure of Abdul Rozak, Ayu Ting Ting's Father Who Likes to Joke But Firm

Kapanlagi.com - In running a restaurant with a Betawi cuisine concept, Abdul Rozak always consistently involves himself directly. The father of dangdut singer Ayu Ting Ting has even come to prepare everything before his restaurant is open to the public.

"Father comes from the morning, dawn, really from the preparation of opening, he's here, going back and forth," said Amel, one of the employees who occupies the position as a cashier, in Depok, West Java, on Wednesday (7/2/2024).

1. Good Boss

According to Amel, the man who is familiarly called Ayah Ojak is a good boss and likes to joke. However, Umi Kalsum's husband can also be a strict figure.

"When he is with his employees, it feels like being with family, so when he is joking or chatting, there is a certain time for that, unless he is really serious about work or something else," said Amel.

"If he needs to correct someone, he does it nicely, rarely getting angry because he jokes more often. But if you say he is strict, he is very strict," added Amel.

2. Crowded with Celebrity Visitors

One of the marketing strategies that Ayah Ojak does to make his restaurant more crowded is by inviting his celebrity friends like Ayu Ting Ting and creating content. Apparently, Amel considers this to be very appropriate because the restaurant named Warung Ayah Rojak has become more and more crowded with visitors.

"Almost all the artists who come here make a buzz, especially when they meet Ayah," said Amel.

3. Addictive

Some even come back without having to create content because they are addicted to the menus served, especially the homemade sambal pecak by Ayah Ojak.

"If they come here, they don't have to be contented, sometimes they really just want to eat. Bopak often comes here with others, I don't remember their names but they come here often," said Amel.

4. Home Concept

This Ayah Ojak restaurant is built with a concept similar to being at home. Customers can enjoy the menus served while sitting on the floor or using dining tables.

Ayu Ting Ting, as his daughter, fully supports Ayah Ojak's business. In fact, before going to shoot or other work, the single mother of one child always makes time to visit the restaurant, which is not too far from her house.

"Bu Ayu checks in the morning, she stops by for a while before going to work," Amel concluded.
